Pinay Models and Morals - Getting Naked

Every day, the fashion industry in the Philippines continues to push the envelope. The Pinoy creativity that designers, photographers, and models express is amazing. But, along with innovation, other boundaries are pushed out further as well. This places amateur and professional Filipina models alike into compromising situations that force them to either give into the industry or make a stand for their convictions. In most cases, pressure from the industry makes it seem as if giving up their dignity is the only way they can pursue their dreams.

The pressures of the fashion world prompted some Pinay models to eventually give up their morals and participate in risqué modeling jobs just a few episodes later. It is so sad, but it also a reality that no matter how strong you think you are, it’s a lonely road when no one around you holds the same convictions.
If you want to be a model, the reality is that you will have many opportunities to get naked. Nudity – full, partial, and implied – are definitely part of the modeling business, especially in the high fashion industry.  But, most modeling jobs don't ask this of you at all. There are plenty of commercial, fitness, lifestyle, and print assignments that will never ask you to take your clothes off for money. In many cases, clients will arrange for private dressing areas and female stylists to keep the talent comfortable. But, this is not always the case either.

If you are looking into pursuing a modeling career, you must first determine what your boundaries are and how you will deal with requests to cross them. Discuss them with your modeling agent, who should filter potentially compromising requests for you, in honor of your standards. If they are not willing to do that, dump them. A talented model can find representation anywhere, so do not let an agency bully you into either getting naked or letting go of your dream.

The bottom line is that there are many models, actors, and entertainment professionals that lead successful careers without ever getting naked. If more of the talent would dare to make a stand, the industry would be forced to stop asking. Besides, what sense does it make to use naked bodies to sell clothing!

Sexy Swimwear: Different Ideas To Think About

It's never too early to start thinking about sexy swimwear and fitting into that string bikini. With all of the stylish options for summer wear flying off the shelves just in time for the holidays, you can start getting ready now and start preparing to look your best on the beaches in the summer heat.

Seriously though, if you want a bargain on swimsuits your best bet is to buy during the off season. Starting now gives you more options to choose from before the big rush of summer shoppers. At one time, you could only buy swimsuits during the summer, unless you lived in a tourist town in one of the warmer climes where swimwear is available all year 'round. The internet now provides you with the means for buying bikinis all through the year.

The first decision you have to make is what kind of suit you want. In order for a swimsuit to look good on you, you have to choose one that fits your body type. Face it, swimsuits have become progressively more revealing as the years have gone on. There are many men who find the full coverage of a bikini from the 70s far more attractive than the dental floss G-strings and thong bikinis we see today. And this isn't reserved for men alone, either. We've seen plenty of men who have no business wearing a thong or a Speedo.

It's not impossible to find a swimsuit that makes you look sexy and classy, regardless of your current level of fitness. When searching out the perfect swimsuit, forget what looks good on the models and mannequins and concentrate on what looks good on you. Finding the right size will make the swimsuit you choose flattering to your body type. Too many women refuse to admit they wear the size they do and they'll buy swimsuits too small with the hope that by the time they need to wear it, they'll have lost the weight and miraculously have attained the perfect body. Be realistic, it's not going to happen, ladies.

Try to keep an open mind when shopping for swimsuits. You never know what will look best on you, so try on quite a few options and try to look your best. Keep your chin up and be proud of yourself; you've come a long way, baby! It's never a bad thing to be confident and be proud of how you look in a string bikini or any other sexy swimsuit, so take your friends with you and start trying on some summer fun today.

One thing to keep in mind in terms of sexy swimwear is that confidence is the key to it all. Looking great in a swimsuit has very little to do with the actual swimsuit and a whole lot to do with how confident the person looks in it. A self-assured young woman could put duck-shaped water wings over as the next hot thing for summer if she had the right strut, so keep that in mind when rifling through the swimsuit collection. Get something that works right for you and you alone.

Revealed Secrets on Dressing the Skinny Eco-Chic Way

The vacations and holidays have a way of making our resolve disappear, and while we may not be able to reverse our lapses, we can try to conceal those extra pounds–at least until we begin to experience results of our diet or at the gym. Now here are some secrets for looking slimmer, the eco-chic way.

1. Do Not Droop!
Here’s a simple and sage piece of friendly advice that costs nothing and can make you look 14 pounds lighter. The cheapest, easiest and quickest way to look thinner is to stand up straight. Everything lines up, even your fat! Your belly will seem flatter, your back fat will be less noticeable, your boobs will look perkier, and your rounded shoulders will seem more graceful. We can’t think of a single better reason to hold your head up high.

2. Dress Up to Show Off or Conceal.

Begin accepting your curves or lack thereof. Always dress for your specific body type. Get to know your own silhouette. If you have a tiny waist, show it off! If you have legs for miles, do NOT cover them up! The key is to accept what you have and make the best of it. There are enough garments on the market to help you fake a good figure. If the “ideal” shape is a well-balanced hourglass (no matter what the size, 2-22), this can be fudged by choosing garments that help create this illusion even when it isn’t there. I recommend that curvy gals embrace their bosom and bottom by wearing gorgeous necklines and prim, but provocative pencil skirts.

3. Try the Universal Miracle Clothing

The one piece of clothing that works wonders on all women is the universally flattering 3/4-length sleeve, clavicle-exposing, hip-length top. The neckline draws attention to the center of your body, away from your edges. The 3/4-sleeves don’t add visual bulk to your look, while still camouflaging upper-arm trouble areas. The hip-length covers unruly bellies and makes butts look smaller from the back. When you really wants to suck it all in, rely on Rago Control Top Underwear, a corseted, boned, control-top undergarment from the 1940s–an eco-choice if ever there was one, given its vintage provenance. But experts don’t recommend vintage underpinnings for everyday because a girl’s got to breathe!

4. A Calculated Camouflage
One of the biggest trends this year is layering and it’s the key to looking slimmer. Winter wardrobes are a fat girl’s friend. Those opaque control-top tights, knee-high boots, and scarves that we’ve come to rely on when temperatures drop, can also help camouflage a host of figure flaws. But the trick to making it all work is putting dark colors under lighter colors. It tricks the eye into believing that the darker bits are actually farther away, a. k. a. smaller. Remember the idea of a shadow–a silhouette in a lighted doorway–you want the darker in the center, the light on the outside. It frames your figure in the most flattering way.

5. Wear Black in Right Fit
What is that one piece of advice you have heard all your life when it comes to dressing thin? Wear dark colors. Our experts agree, but with one caveat. Black obviously camouflages, but again, I think that black only works well if it is a proper fit. Anything that is too big, or proportionally off isn’t going to help a body appear thinner. So remember: While that roomy, black, boyfriend cardigan may be the comfiest thing you grab in the morning, it’s not always the most fetching choice.

6. Denim Jeans Make it Easier

If the perfect 3/4-length sleeve top is a miracle worker for your top, what works wonders for your bottom? A comfortable, but oh-so-sexy pair of jeans, of course. It is a pain to go out and try on a million pairs of jeans to find the perfect fit, but once you do find it, dressing for most occasions becomes that much easier. We love the idea of no-brainer party dressing and these skinny-but-not-second-skin jeans from Levi’s eco collection are a good fit (no pun intended). Remember to throw on a pair of heels to elongate the leg and you are ready for virtually any social situation.

7. Stripes Modification

We’ve all heard that horizontal stripes make you look bigger, but recent experiments by British scientists have found just the opposite. They say it’s actually vertical stripes that give the illusion of a fuller figure whereas horizontal ones make you look thinner. Of course vertical stripes make curvy women look even curvier, duh! They expand and contract around your curves, which actually emphasizes your trouble spots. Or you can go for no stripes at all. Horizontal stripes are delightful, but they are not for everyone. As with everything, it really depends on the specific item of clothing.

Body Shape Fashion Tips

Every Filipina wants to feel and look great. Some women want to look good for their husbands or boyfriends, some for strangers they don't even know and some want it for themselves. The reasons might be different but they can't achieve it without some right body shape fashion tips.

I think I can speak for most women and say that one of the most difficult things in our lives is to accept our bodies the way they are, especially when they are not perfect. And usually they're not. But when you can achieve that and find inner peace between you and your body, you'll stop stressing out about your size and start to concentrate on more important things in your life.

The first step to achieve that is to find out what body shape you are and then use mine great body shape fashion tips to disguise your flaws and show the best assets of your body.

There are four common body shapes – pear, apple, hourglass and rectangle. Probably the most common type is pear. Pears have their upper body smaller than lower and when they gain weight it usually goes to their hips and thighs. Because the lower body is larger than the upper one, it's important for pears to find a balance between the two. So if your body shape is pear you should wear fitted tops in bright and light colours with different prints and to make your hips and legs look slimmer you should wear A – line or flared skirts. If you prefer jeans you should wear wide – leg or straight legged jeans in darker colours. Another great fashion tip from mine body shape fashion tips is that if you want to bring attention to your neck and face rather then to your hips, you should wear necklaces and earrings.

Apples have their upper body larger than lower and if they gain weight it usually goes to their waistline. So it's important to draw attention from your waist to your legs. So wear jeans that have a flat front and have back pockets that can give a little bit of curve to your flatter rear. You should stay away from jeans that are too tight as they will make you look even bigger on the top. If you prefer skirts, wear A – line skirts or short skirts that are 1 to 5 inches above the knee. The tops you shouldn't wear with those jeans and skirts are dark tops with too many patterns. And because apples have larger breast don't forget that very important is the right bra.

If you're lucky enough to have an hourglass figure, you've found a balance that most of us, especially pears, are looking for. Because your shoulders and curvy hips are equal in size, you don't have to be afraid of patterns and you should go for tops with V – neck and wear some stretch denim jeans with larger hips and smaller waist. As for skirts you should wear ¾ length or full length skirts. Probably the most valuable of all body shape fashion tips for women with an hourglass figure is – don't hide your body by wearing some baggy clothes.

If you have a rectangle figure you definitely have great legs and you should show them by wearing jeans with a low – rise and with back pockets that will make your bottom look fuller. Or you can wear pencil, A – lined or flared skirts. Because your figure is straight up and down you shouldn't wear vertical patterns as they will make you look even thinner, but rather wear scoop neck or V – neck tops that will make you look curvier.

We are all different in the way we look but we have one thing in common, we always find something we don't like about our bodies. So make the first step to change and find out what your body shape is and use mine body shape fashion tips as they can help you to take the focus of your problem areas and emphasize what is positive on your body. They can even save your time when shopping, as quite often we buy clothes that are unflattering for our figure because they don't have the right cut, colour or print.

And there's another aspect where mine body shape fashion tips can be very useful. They can help you to become more confident, because the way you feel determines the way you look. So feel confident and it definitely will show.

The four commandments of fashion

Filipina girls always try their best to look real good, better perhaps. The mall displays catch them adoring certain brands and mimicking certain styles. Pinay women also get caught on the fashion frenzy. I tell you, stares follow ladies who dress strikingly. Some get struck, some say ‘wow’, others get mesmerized, and still others pat their foreheads.

Well, some Pinay women sometimes get confused with how to dress themselves better. Here are some points for you dear Pinays if you really love beauty. There are actually no hard-and-fast rules of fashion but most style experts agree on a few essential principles no matter how inexpensive and tacky your clothes are. Actually, these are the four commandments of the fashion Bible:

1. Always Look Neat and Clean. Except for some special occasion, it's best to keep your jeans unframed, your shirt unstained and your shoes unscuffed. Grime is passé, so live with it. Take good care of your clothes and make sure you follow the right directions .Polish your boots. De-fuzz your sweaters. Even if you can't make yourself into the world's most gentle dresser, you can always improve your appearance by looking well-kept.

2. Don't Overdo Trends. Even if leopard print is "in." In an effort to look oh-so chic, you go out and buy a hat, blouse, skirt, bag and shoes-all in leopard print. Bad move actually. It is common sense. No one would love to do like that. Similarly, don't saturate your wardrobe with any single style or silhouette. So moderation is more important to us.

3. Keep Ultra-Bright Colors Away From the Face No matter what your skin tone looks like, you will not look good in a bright green sweater. No one is perfect so do not trust that you will look still pretty with every kinds of pattern and color. To choose what really fit you and ignore something all of people think ugly. That is simply wise choice.

4. Ignore Lame Clichés. You may often hear about something like "Make sure your shoes match your bag." or "Never pair stripes with plaid." Well, we're here to say that it's all a bunch of hogwash. In today's fashion trend the hardest thing is to be creative and open to new ideas. If this means ignoring old adages and overstepping traditional bounds, so be it.

The Hot Micro Bikini on that Sizzling Summertime

Hmmm, it was such a sweet sexy summertime. The rainy season makes the craving for that much talked about hot summer nights… or days. I still recall a young Filipina lady who now resides in New Zealand who said in her email that she misses the hot summer in the Philippines. Even my former Filipina classmates wanted to stay for the summer and swim their melancholy away on our beautiful beaches.

Actually, summer is all about looking hot and feeling hotter. Summer is long, languid days on the beach, quixotic evenings overlooking the sea and going out on the town in dazzling new outfits. Those vacationers really look fantastic
with beauty-revealing outfits. Summer also caused you ladies to break out last year’s outfits, including that old, dingy bathing suit. But this year, you shook things up. This year, you took a plunge, and splurge on a barely-there tiny micro bikini. I tell you, the once so demure Filipina were ready to let go, especially our university girls in all their liberal innocence.

Mind you, everything got smaller these days. Women wore and still wear baby doll tees, hip hugger jeans and mini-skirts. Tiny micro bikinis are the beach counterpart to these trends. Match up a regular bikini to a tiny micro bikini and the major disparity is the bottoms. A tiny micro bikini bottom still covers the critical areas but uses the most minuscule amount of material needed. And it makes you feel much more natural, liberated and unrestrained!

A tiny micro bikini is ideal for lots of reasons. It is form-fitting and well-crafted, meaning it's very comfy. It's like running on the beach in your birthday suits but with no worry about showing those private parts that shouldn't be shown. If you can wear a thong, you can wear a tiny micro bikini with ease. It also gives you the ability to show off that sexy shape that you work so hard to maintain. Why spend all those hours working your abs, legs and butt at the gym if no one is going to see them? The tiny micro also makes it easy to flaunt every inch of your fine complexion. And if you haven't reached your desired level of tan, a tiny micro bikini is perfect for laying out in the sunshine and ensures you the least amount of tan lines possible. Natural sunshine sure beats frying in a tanning bed any day.

The tiny micro bikini
has managed to fill the gap between full-on nudity and conservatism in swimwear. So our dear Filipina girls and ladies, don't be afraid to cut loose and embrace the tiny micro bikini. You definitely won't be alone!
